Amelia Old, President

Amelia Old, founder of Pretty in the Queen City, is a former international talent agent. She was named Best Creative Professional in the 2008 American Business Awards, hailed as the "business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post. In 2010, Amelia closed her talent agency to focus on the development of Pretty in the Queen City. She's an avid product researcher and writer, sharing her reviews and experiences through a variety of outlets. Amelia is very passionate about our non-profit community. She serves as the publicist for All We Want is LOVE and is an advocate for The Sandbox. When she's not working or driving her children to and from a variety of activities, Amelia also enjoys sports and family photography.

Lisa Frame, Director of Content
Lisa Frame is an over-achieving Southern gal. She has been involved in social media as a community manager pre-Y2k and most recently for the Toyota Women ambassador program. She has been blogging since 2002 and has worked for numerous companies as a brand ambassador such as UbiSoft, Toyota, momAgenda, along with many others. Lisa specializes in social media marketing analysis, while boosting customer loyalty, building brand voice and optimizing social presence.

April Smith, Director of Programming
April Smith is the creator and owner of Social Ape Marketing, a Charlotte company specializing in Social Media Marketing and Training. Before starting her own business, April was employed at ESPNU as the Social Media Manager working with on-air talent and during live shows and games. As a lover of writing and Charlotte nightlife, April has written for the Creative Loafing blog "QC After Dark". When not tweeting or attending networking events, April can be found running, doing hot yoga or trying Charlotte's newest restaurants.

Dee Lease, Director of Sponsorship
Dee Lease is a North Carolina native. She attended Gardner Webb University and received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. For the past six years she has worked as a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney in Charlotte, while being active in her children’s lives and the community. She was pulled kicked and screaming into the world of social media, but now that she's here, wouldn't miss one moment.

JR Rochester, Treasurer
JR Rochester is a young PR professional with a passion for digital communication, social media and interpersonal communication.  He graduated from East Carolina University and is a proud United States Army Veteran. He charismatic, energetic, and hardworking. He loves to cook, play the drums and go to live music venues.
