If you are using Tweetdeck for groups, but need to manage multiple accounts, take a look at Seesmic Desktop, it's the new Twirl and it's not bad.

Part of the fun of social media is using tools like Twitter to meet real people like Donna I might otherwise never get to know. Finally able to say I met another person I admire today in real life! :)

I had switched from Twhirl to Tweetdeck and back to Thwirl because it allowed me to manage more than one Twitter account at the same time. But today I finally realized I'm missing tweets due to the number of folks I follow. So I just switched back to Tweetdeck and organized the groups as I should have done long ago. I keep Twhirl open at the same time for the multiple accounts, but will be mainly using Tweetdeck because the group columns allow me to much more efficiently keep up with what is happening. On my iPhone I've been using Twittelator, but I'm not sold on it yet.

i just use TwitterGadget in iGoogle most of the time and Twitterific on my iPhone, but then again I don't have a ton of Twitter traffic to follow like many of you seem to. Oh, and Brandon turned me onto ping.fm when I want to post to multiple places at once (facebook, twitter, Tumblr, etc)

Personally, I'm a TweetDeck fan - Tried others but TweetDeck seems to be on the ball with development etc. Just waiting on what the monetization of the 3rd party apps will look like. Bound to happen soon even if Twitter don't solidify their plans beforehand.
