I am organizing a volunteer event scheduled for Saturday July 28. In simple terms, the plan is to surprise shoppers at local Family Dollar stores by paying for some or all of their items when they check out. Volunteers will pitch their money into a pool which will be used to pay for these items. Depending upon how many volunteers, we my do this at one or more Family Dollar store.
